Returned from Lower Brule today — located in the middle of South Dakota, and one of five original partitions of the Great Sioux Reservation. Dave and I headed there yesterday for a time of seeking God for revival. It's encouraging to see God's hand connecting intercessors and workers on other reservations.
Interestingly, we discovered there aren’t really any sun dances on Lower Brule, so they come to Pine Ridge and Rosebud to do them. This is evidence both of good things happening at Lower Brule and of the spiritual influence of Pine Ridge — not only among the various Sioux reservations, but among Native communities in general.
When transforming revival hits Pine Ridge, it will affect many other reservations.
